I LOVE a beautiful place setting! I’m all about layering plates, folding a pretty napkin, and adding an element of greenery! If I see a place setting picture on Instagram, you better believe I double tap that! 😉
I’m not hosting Christmas this year, but I’m happy to provide a little Christmas dinner inspiration.
One thing that I find particularly fun are place cards. Of course, place cards most often display the names of your guests but I thought it would be fun to try something a little different – lyrics from Christmas songs!
So what do you do when you need the best of the best song lyrics? You tell Spotify to play Christmas music on repeat all. day. long! 🙂 Not mad about that!
To create my holiday place setting, I used a beige dinner plate, a black salad plate with a subtle shimmer, a beautiful cloth napkin with red embroidery, some matte black silverware, and of course my Christmas place cards with a sprig from our Christmas tree.
It’s really quite simple but it feels very festive and I’m all about that!
