I remember as a kid if I was ever sitting in a waiting room, I would always grab the magazines and search for the high/low list. I don’t know why but there’s something so fun about finding a good deal and marveling at the cost difference between two very similar items.
And if you don’t know what high/low list I’m talking about, basically a magazine editor would find 2 nearly identical pieces of furniture, decor, textiles, or kitchen accessories and share them side by side. One was always expensive and one was much cheaper! They would fill a page with these high and low priced pieces and I soaked up all of it!
So in honor of my childhood, I’m going to start creating my own high/low lists. This week, we’re covering brass accents because brass has exploded in popularity and it can easily get pricey if you don’t do your homework!
