Several weeks ago I received some requests for our bedroom rug source. Believe it or not, it’s from…wait for it…Home Depot! Wait whaaat? ha! We were searching for some tools when we stumbled upon the most beautiful shag rug on display at the store and we bought it on the spot!
Since then, Home Depot stopped carrying the rug and unfortunately I cannot locate it anywhere else online. BUT, I found 4 nearly identical shag rugs online that I think you’re gonna love!
My tip with shag rugs – they are NOT intended for high traffic areas. Light traffic only! We made the mistake of putting two shag rugs in both our living room and bedroom (the two rooms that we spend the most time in) and they both have matted down pretty bad. So just be aware of that before you put your shag rug in a heavily used room.
I personally love the first rug (from CB2) and the last rug (from Rugs USA). Both have a soft plush look without being too poofy if you know what I mean! How cute would they look in a nursery?!
