Walmart just launched their new Fall Collection and if you’re new to the scene, they’re killing it in the home decor world! This new collection blends two of my favorite styles right now – rustic and modern. Distressed finishes with clean lines and modern touches seems to be the theme of Walmart Home’s fall line. They’ve done an amazing job of combining hot trends at affordable prices so I rounded up a few of my favorites. (Hint: all of these pieces work year round too!)
1. Signature Design Sofa Table – Obsessed. Totally and completely obsessed. When I say I was devastated that I couldn’t find an empty spot for this distressed sofa table, I mean it. It’s giving me Round Top Antique Fair vibes but for less than $400. The shape, style, and inset drawers are everything I’m loving today. Here’s a closer look at the table because the small photo above isn’t doing it justice.
2. Taluosi Rattan Scallop Basket – How can you not with the scalloped top? I ordered 2 (one large, one small) for our home and I’m picturing them on a coffee table, on a stack of books, or in the kitchen.
3. Vue Rose Cotton Throw Blanket – If you appreciate throw blankets that have a natural organic texture, this is it! It also comes in white and cool gray.
4. Set of 3 Glass Jars – This is the type of decor that does double duty as glam AND Christmas decor. That ribbed glass though…
5. White Ceramic Pitcher – A white pitcher is a classic in my book because it works in every season. This one has a subtle weathered finish that feels like the perfect blend between rustic but clean and polished.
6. Set of 3 Terracotta Vases – The look of handmade vases at an affordable price. That stripe feels like a fresh take on dipped pottery.
7. Possini Euro Design Sconce – The textured glass is what caught my eye! Luxury modern meets classic with this light.
8. Button Tufted Headboard – I incorporated the charcoal version of this headboard in this bedroom makeover, but I had to include the beige version here because I’m in love with all things beige.
9. Organic Kantha Blanket – Again with the texture! Made of organic cotton and has the prettiest raw edge. Looks and feels like a luxury blanket!
10. Plaid Curtains – Based off the response I got in this virtual design plan, it’s clear plaid curtains are a fan favorite… Correction, THESE plaid curtains are a fan favorite.
11. Distressed Black & Silver Canvas Frame – I ordered this frame as soon as I saw it (see photo at beginning of post). Comes in several colorways and it’s just as beautiful and substantial as it is in the photo. It doesn’t have glass so it’s ideal for canvas art or any art prints that feature a painting. (I just cropped and printed one of the paintings from my free art collection.)
12. Artificial Cotinus Coggygria Tree – An artificial plant that’s not an olive tree or a fiddle leaf fig?? That can’t be right. 😉 I’m kidding I’m kidding, but I do like a little variety and this one feels totally unique and fresh. “Plant” it in a pot with dirt to make it look all the more realistic.
13. Lace Serving Bowl – There are two pieces of “formal” dinnerware that I consider necessities – a serving platter and a serving bowl. Even if you don’t host dinner frequently, there are enough occasions where you’re asked to bring a side dish and there’s nothing worse than loading up your fancy salad in a plastic purple mixing bowl…speaking from experience. This one is extra pretty.
14. Distressed Metal Vases – Perfectly distressed and perfectly fall appropriate.
15. Organic Stripe Blanket – Bought it. Love it. I like a medium weight blanket that serves double duty as a throw blanket and bed blanket. The matelasse weave gives it that soft texture and the beige stripe is even better in person.
16. Distressed Metal Tray – I made a prediction early last year that we’d be seeing a lot more rustic elements in main stream design and that’s exactly what’s happening. How cute would this rustic metal tray be on a picnic table? I’m picturing it holding drinks or toppings for a family picnic.
17. Waffle Bath Towels – White towels in a pretty waffle texture…sold.
18. Rustic Black 3 Drawer Chest – Apparently my affection for distressed black furniture is peaking because I’m drawn to it over and over again. Nightstands or an entry cabinet…that’s what I’m thinking.
19. Warm Gold Sconce – This definitely leans more modern, traditional but how pretty!?
20. Glass Apothecary Jars – So many uses! In the bathroom, on your makeup vanity, on the coffee table. Mine holds matches!
