2021 Gift Guide: For Him

Chris here! Danica enlisted my help for a men’s gift guide and with the help of a some “friends & family” input, together we’ve compiled 19 gift ideas for the men in your life.

1. Garmin Instinct Watch – I tend to talk about this watch a lot and when I do, I use it’s full name which has become a bit of a joke in our house. But it’s too good not to talk about. It’s an all purpose adventure watch. It tracks runs, hikes, pace, heart rate, elevation, gets text and emails, and pretty much does everything I need it to do and more!

2. Hoka Running Shoes – I’m just gonna say it…running shoes are usually ugly…but not these! When it comes to brands, Hoka makes my favorite running shoes. If he’s a runner, he’ll love these shoes too!

3. Metal Detector – No one is too old to be a kid. Gift him a metal detector and take bets on how long before he’s outside giving it a try. #noshame

4. Mission Stuffel – For the adventurer, the hiker, the camper, the “lives in a bag” kinda guy.

5. Rechargeable Flashlight – Flashlights are like socks, you’re always losing them. Every year we get a new flashlight and every year we find ourselves with one less. Chances are he could use another good quality rechargeable flashlight.

6. Solo Fire Pit – My brother-in-law bought this and the “no smoke” claims are true! You really don’t get any smoke in your face and we all walked away without smokey smelling clothes.

7. Columbia Sweatshirt – When in doubt, a practical sweatshirt by a quality brand is a guaranteed winner.

8. Emergency Rechargeable Lightbulbs – So my dad mentioned that he wanted these bulbs and at first I didn’t understand the hype. But if you take into account his personality, it makes complete sense! For the “prepared for anything” “emergency kit in the basement” man in your life, get him a set of rechargeable light bulbs. I think you’ll be surprised how much of a hit these are.

9. Magnetic Sweeper – This thing has come in handy on more than a few occasions. We run it through the grass after an exterior remodel project. I use it on our gravel driveway to make sure we won’t pop a tire from a nail…it’s happened before. It’s one of those things that you don’t realize how useful it is until you have it.

10. Deep Tissue Massage Gun – I want one. I don’t know a man that doesn’t want one. Nuff said.

11. Huckberry Beanie – A classic beanie in a classic color by one of my favorite brands.

12. Leaf Blower – Quite possibly the most versatile tool there is. Use it on a jobsite to clean off your materials after cuts. Clean out the garage, blow the leaves, clear out the gutters. This one does the job well.

13. BPN Intra Flight – For during a workout, long runs, long bike rides, or even long hikes, the BPN Intra Flight is perfect to keep the fuel coming and the adventure going.

14. Goodr Sunglasses – So light, so durable, and such a good deal for some really quality sunglasses. These stay where they are supposed to and well let’s just say I’ve never looked better. 🙂

15. Greenlights by Matthew McConaughey – In a matter of a week I was recommended this book by 4 different people. Then when I went to buy it at the store I was told by another random person that it was the “best book ever”. Lots of hype to live up to….and it DID!

16. Long Sleeve Tee – Well fitting shirts are hard to find for a height blessed man like myself. This one fits well and has that ideal washed and worn look for such a good price.

17. Ten Thousand Shorts – Who wore it best? …anyone who is wearing these shorts. Enough said.

18. Brumate Tumbler – Another wish list suggestion from my dad. This one’s for the wine connoisseur.

19. Addaday Body Roller – To prep for a tough workout, he needs a body roller. After a long day, he wants a body roller.
