NOTABLE THINGS: MORE PAINTED VASES + MY CHRISTMAS LIST

Once again, I’m preaching from the mountain top about how much I love finding and refreshing vases from thrift stores! If you’ve been paying attention, this is the 5th vase that I’ve found at a thrift store with an incredible shape, but in the most atrocious color. I used to just spray my outdated vases a solid color with spray paint, but now I’m finding more options like this spray on texture and this speckled light beige finish.

Our kitchen corner had a lot of empty space and an oversized thrift store vase like this one fills in the void perfectly. I can’t say it enough – if you’re in the market for a vase…go to your local thrift store! Full tutorial on how I paint vases here.

My Christmas list (aka my wishlist) consists of products that I’ve wanted for the past year but never convinced myself to spend my own money on. What’s more fun than convincing Chris to buy these things for me instead?!

• And last, this super inexpensive phone stand is on my list because the number of times I have to set up a janky rig to hold my phone while I record a video tutorial or do a time-lapse video is enough to make a girl go crazy! It also comes with a remote so I can take a photo or hit record from afar! Yes please!
