I’m not sure if it’s the glimpse of spring we’re seeing or the sudden burst of energy I have, but my wheels of ideas and inspiration have been TURNING the past 2 weeks. I’ve been utilizing the instagram save button heavily and compartmentalizing ideas in my head. Would you like to take a tour through my brain?
Chris came to me with a genius idea last week for our bedroom roof that might just save us $15,000…no joke! His idea got my brain spinning with more ideas and then I stumbled upon this bathroom from @thankfulbungalow which confirmed my ideas even more! Wall AND ceiling treatments have my heart. And can we please take a moment to applaud the beauty of that brass wall hook. Currently on the hunt for a similar set for our closet.
I’ve seen Renovate108’s kitchen pull out broom cabinet 100 times but it didn’t dawn on me until this week that we could do a similar pull out cabinet in our laundry room! (Hello light bulb moment) Having a dedicated spot for our cleaning supplies would be magical and all we’d need is 8” of space.
This mirror in the kitchen moment is the exact reason why some rules are meant to be broken! Tessa Neustadt, you did it again!
@hamb.home has me so tempted to tone down the starkness of the black grout subway tile in our kitchen. And the range hood….perfection! But we shouldn’t remodel our kitchen again should we?!
Ummm….@buildwith_em is a genius! She found a digital download, printed it on poster paper, and then added a clear gel to make it look like real brush strokes! Mind blown! 100% doing this DIY asap!
Other notable things –
Chris was gifted one of the best birthday presents he’s ever gotten – a coffee roaster! He’s been out in the garage every day since roasting his own beans and he says it’s the best coffee he’s ever tasted! This is the coffee roaster he has and his green coffee beans are from Burman Coffee Traders.
When I think of my dream home…I think of this one and it’s currently for sale. Oh what I would do to have that exterior, that yard, and to redo the interior.
Justin Timberlakes new movie “Palmer” is one of the best movies Chris and I have watched in a long time! Was tearing up the whole way through. Well worth getting a free trial on Apple TV+ to watch it!
And while you have the free trial, watch Ted Lasso too! 10/10 recommend.
I don’t normally like chickpeas….but I can’t stop snacking on these! Add them to your cart…trust me.
To say I’m impressed with Brick and Batten’s virtual before and afters is an understatement. Their exterior creativity blows me away!!
I’m such a sucker for watercolor paintings and Emily Davis Collection has some of the most beautiful originals I’ve seen! P.S. she does house portraits too and I’m SO tempted to buy one as a gift for my parents.
I didn’t even realize there was a right and wrong style of storage bins until I saw this. I’ve been wasting so much space! #organizationalfail
I just released a collection of limited edition pillows and throws in my shop and I’m more than obsessed with all the patterns! Perfect opportunity to flex your pattern play skills. Shop my new textiles below!
