1. RIBBED GLASS CANDLE
To me, a candle is just as much about the container it comes in as it is the scent and I find myself using this ribbed glass candle even after the wax is gone. It’s beautifully elegant and you could easily wash out the wax when it’s done and use it as a drinking glass.
1. HALF BAKED HARVEST COOKBOOK
Big Half Baked Harvest fan over here! Either Tieghan has the same taste in food as we do, or she just makes everything taste good! Either way, we have yet to find a recipe in this book that we don’t love and that says a lot. Chris does the meal planning for us and he almost exclusively picks recipes from this book since we bought it.
3. CREW NECK LONG SLEEVE
Long sleeve crew necks are in! I bought this nearly a year ago and it’s so buttery soft that I bought two more in black and white. Take a wild guess what I’m wearing right now…
4. IT COSMETICS BROW PENCIL
I used to fill in my eyebrows with eyeshadow and as soon as I switched to this brow pencil 4 years ago…I never looked back. Somehow the Universal Taupe color is like The Sisterhood Of The Traveling Pants…it works for everyone.
5. RARE BEAUTY HIGHLIGHTER
Speaking of makeup, I recently added this highlighter to my makeup routine and I’m hooked! Take it from me, liquid highlighter works 100% better than powder highlighter. A little goes a looong way fyi.
6. DRIED STAR FLOWERS
I’ve been bragging about these flowers since the day I bought them. I have them in our hutch. I put them on my nightstand. If we’re prepping for spring decor, this would be the first thing I incorporate.
7. LEATHER CAMERA BAG
Over Christmas break, I broke my camera. Long story short, I left it outside on a tripod for 60 seconds tops and when I went back out, I found the tripod tipped over. It fell directly on the lens and that was that. So I took the opportunity to buy a new camera, new lenses and a new camera bag which is SEXY! It’s big enough to hold my camera, 2 large lenses, and all the accessories. But the best part? I can take out all my camera gear and padding and it converts into the cutest travel bag.
8. BASKETWEAVE DOORMAT
A coir doormat…but cuter than most. Pretty enough to leave on its own, simple enough to layer over an outdoor entry rug.
9. TRAVEL JEWELRY CASE
My friend Chloe shared this on her Instagram stories and I have never purchased something so quickly. How do you pack your jewelry when you travel? I either threw it all in a ziploc bag and hoped for the best or individually wrapped my earrings in cling wrap…neither of which were ideal. This little jewelry case is a game changer…and less than $15 might I add.
10. APRIL NOTES LINEN BEDDING
April Notes was kind enough to send me their linen duvet cover and pillow cases to try out and the first thing I said when I felt them was, “I want their sheets too.” The thing about linen bedding is you have to know what you’re getting into when you buy them. Typical linen bedding feels slightly scratchy initially, but the more that you wash them, the softer they feel. BUT this bedding started off waaay softer than any other linen I’ve purchased in the past.
11. STRAW CLEANERS
Because I know 75% of the population received a Stanley tumbler for Christmas, do yourself a favor and get these straw cleaners. While you’re at it, wash your water bottle too you filthy animal. 😉
12. RVCA CREW SOCKS
All the cool girls are wearing white crew socks so I thought I’d try to fit in. Wishing I got a second set because I wear them the second they come out of the dryer.
