I am so ready to gut and remodel our bathroom! It’s been in partial demo mode for over a year now and I’m so over the plywood floor and exposed studs. When we were remodeling our kitchen/hallway we decided to move the bathroom door to a new spot in the hallway which meant we had to demo a portion of the bathroom as well. We didn’t have the money to finish the bathroom at the time so we’ve just been using the bathroom as is until we save up the money to finish gutting and remodeling it. I’m praying that happens this summer! (Fingers crossed)
Until then, I’ve been pinning bathroom inspiration like a mad woman so that when the day comes I have my design locked and ready to go! I currently have 5 bathrooms that give me major inspiration so here’s my countdown to my favorite bathrooms of all time!
I’m honestly kinda shocked this one made my list because I’m normally not a major fan of terrazzo tile but for some reason this design speaks to me! I don’t know that I would have the guts to do this in our own home but I could see this being stunning in a commercial space. Plus I’m thoroughly impressed that the designer was able to maintain the balance despite all the asymmetrical elements.
When I look at this bathroom I see rich vintage and my eyes are instantly drawn to that stunning vanity. (And that round mirror with what appears to be a leather strap wrapped around it) I love the showstopping vanity top and the richness that black marble brings to the space. Plus I’m always a fan of a black and white color scheme so I’m not shocked this bathroom made the list.
Go ahead and pick up your jaw off the floor. I mean seriously…the wood vanity, the white counters and sinks, and the black accents. I’m dead. This custom built vanity is a dream and I LOVE the light wood. Also can we take a second to look at that light fixture above the mirror. I’m really digging horizontal light fixtures lately that are sleek and minimal. Every aspect of this bathroom deserves two thumbs up and a spot at #3!
Well hello there gorgeous! At first I was intrigued by this bathroom because..well…it’s beautiful! But then I was fascinated with the shelf above the vanity. That’s seriously a perfect way to add a little storage if you’re in a smaller space but it also allows you to cut down on the cost of tile on the wall. If you were to do tile all the way to the ceiling, it would be absolutely stunning but also very expensive. This shelf creates a natural place for you to stop the tile and not a soul would assume you’re doing that to save a few bucks! Saving this idea in my brain for our own bathroom remodel!
Ok but for real…this is the the actual bathroom of my dreams!!! When I first saw this picture I stopped in my tracks and instantly showed Chris! This is the epitome of a black, white, and wood bathroom! Let’s talk about that tile. I love the small white squares and I LOVE that they used white grout. Black grout would have gotten super overwhelming but the white grout gives the walls a subtle texture without feeling too busy. The wood floors and ceiling are the real showstoppers. That warms up the space and since it’s both above and below it feels balanced. The matte black fixtures are right up my alley and once again they have a shelf halfway up the wall!
This bathroom is #goals and it rightfully deserves it’s spot at #1 of my favorite bathrooms of all time!
