A while back Chris became a certified coach for the Clifton Strengths Finder Assessment. And if you’re wondering what the heck that is…it’s essentially the enneagram but it focusses on identifying your natural strengths. You answer a handful of questions and at the end you can see a list of your top strengths and how they apply to your life.
After hearing Chris talk about this assessment many times, I decided to take it for myself. To be honest I was a little skeptical…I mean there’s already so many personality tests out there and I’ve never found one to be life changing…(even the enneagram…*gasp!*) But I took it, and if I’m being 100% real with you…I’ve never felt so seen and understood in my life!
It showed me my top 5 strengths (and not like…you’re good at design or you’re creative cause honestly I could figure that out on my own.) Instead, it uncovered my mindsets, skills, and desires and how I subconsciously utilize them on a daily basis…specifically in my work life!
But it’s one thing to know your strengths and it’s another to know how to use them to better yourself. So today Chris took over the podcast and put on his coaching hat to help you and I better understand how we operate and why we operate better when we’re focussing on our strengths. I’ve opted to not write out the entire script so you’ll just have to give this episode a listen!
